May 13, 2011 Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries signed a development agreement with Koti Aluri for North Carolina. Mr. Aluri, of Boardwalk Fairfax, LLC, is currently on board with Boardwalk as a multi-unit franchisee for Fairfax County, Virginia, with five stores slated to open. Now, Mr. Aluri, and Boardwalk Fresh Burgers, LLC, are ready to undertake an additional area with the development of North Carolina as a Master Franchisee with a commitment to open twenty or more stores in that state. He expects to have his first location in operation by the end of this year. Mr. Aluri, of Boardwalk Fairfax, LLC, is currently on board with Boardwalk as a multi-unit franchisee for Fairfax County, Virginia, with five stores slated to open. Now, Mr. Aluri, and Boardwalk Fresh Burgers, LLC, are ready to undertake an additional area with the development of North Carolina as a Master Franchisee with a commitment to open twenty or more stores in that state. He expects to have his first location in operation by the end of this year. The Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries concept currently has locations open in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and California, and will soon be opening locations in Sandy Springs, Georgia. There are an additional 188 Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries restaurants in development in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina and the Middle East.
